Account deletion process
In Plant Reminder, you can delete your account and associated data directly from the app:
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to My Account and tap Delete Account.
- Read the notice and confirm.
What data is permanently removed
Registration data
Email address, display name, nickname, and other account registration details.
Plant management data
Plant names, watering dates, reminders, notes, photos, and similar care records associated with your account.
Social content
Your profile, profile picture, shared photos, comments, likes, follows, and tokens.
Authentication and session data
Authentication records, active sessions, and related account information stored in backend services such as Supabase.
Additional information
If you experience issues deleting your account through the app, you can email us at myplantreminder@gmail.com to request manual deletion. We may verify the request before completing the removal.
After deletion we keep a minimal record without your email or name (internal identifier, dates, platform, country, and content counts) to prove the deletion and for aggregate statistics. Records of reports about abusive content may be kept for as long as needed to prevent repeated abuse. Residual copies in backups disappear when backups rotate.
